With the tentative arrival of Spring, and the school Easter holidays on the horizon, the ladies of Fairfield’s WI added an Easter-themed topper to the postbox in Dickens Boulevard last week to get us all in the mood for the season for rebirth.
Also in celebration of a new beginning, Saturday 4 March saw a traditional Panjabi pre-wedding party known as a Jago take place around Kipling Crescent. Many members of the local community turned out to enjoy the music and dancing, and the wedding families would like to extend their special thanks to all for their support.
