I moved to Fairfield Park in February 2021 and joined the Fairfield Matters team in September of that year after spotting a request for someone to help look after the FM website. Being quite new to Fairfield, and having come from west London where I never said much more than “hello” to my neighbours in the previous seven years, I was quite keen to get involved in the Fairfield community. Whilst not an IT professional, I have an interest in IT and have set up and maintained a number of websites of my own in the past – so this seemed like the perfect role! I have since branched out into writing the odd article for FM every now and then, in addition to uploading the printed articles to the website. I fit this around my full time job as a project procurement manager based in Luton.
