Fairfield Park Football Club was formed in 2013. It started in the bottom division of the Hitchin Sunday Football League (HSFL)and is now in the top league, challenging for titles every year. We managed to get to the County Cup semi final in 2023.
The club is actively recruiting players of any ability level for its Vets team, and is also interested to hear from anyone who would like to try out for the main team. If you don’t make the team you can always just train with them and participate in social events.
HSFL Premier League team
Age range: 18+
Training: Thursday 8–9pm May–August; 9–10pm September–April at Pendleton Sports Centre, Stotfold, £5 per session
Matches: Sunday, 10.30am kick off, usually at the Grange Recreation Ground, Letchworth.
Vets team
Age range: 35–55
Training: Thursday 9–10pm all year round at Pendleton Sports Centre, £3 per session
The Vets do not currently play matches, although there is a dream to create a Vets team to compete in theHertfordshire Vets league – we just need a solid nucleus of players to get this off the ground.
