Val moved to Fairfield Gardens in 2020. That year she was invited to start a community art group and has been developing it since then. The aim is to have a social group for people who want to paint. There’s a range of experience amongst those who come along, everyone helps each other and learns from each other.
Val is a member of Fairfield WI and Fairfield Bowls Club. She began playing Bowls last season and juggles her time between the bowling green and the studio in the summer.
