Fairfield Park FC entered the last game of the season against Half Moon on 20 May unbeaten in five games and with their previous highest points total already surpassed.

They were on good form. A goal from Adam Morris early in the first half was followed quickly by a second. More chances supplied by Tristan Potkins and club veteran Mark Brownfield came to nothing, but that was just bad luck.

The point of no return came in the second half when Archie Wilkinson was crudely taken down in the box. Penalty. There was only one man who was taking the penalty and there was no way he was going to miss. Adam Morris hat-trick! Man of the match. 3–0 to end the season on a high.
