It’s not Fairfield, but it’s such a big deal just up the road that we had to mention it. The annual Letchworth Festival runs for most of this month, from Saturday 9 June to Sunday 1 July.

Expect lots of special events from walks and tours to open studios, taster sessions for regular groups and societies, family fun days, special films, lectures, concerts and more.

It all culminates in Park Live on the final Sunday: a music festival which takes over the whole of Howard Park (where the splash pools are) and presents music, entertainment, food and family fun – with a less family oriented after party at the Garden City Brewery.
