For Fairfield WI’s September meeting, the Events Coordinator organised a river cruise along the River Great Ouse on the John Bunyan Community boat. The WI members were picked up from Fairfield by coach for the journey to Bedford where they picked up the boat from Sovereign Quays. They enjoyed a scenic and informative river trip, which included afternoon tea and a drink from the bar (for some). As always the WI held its monthly raffle (on board), before returning by coach to Fairfield.
