The verge on the green of Bronte Avenue was beginning to look like a bog due to the number of cars and vans that parked on it, especially during the winter months. The FPRA decided that it was time to protect the verge and to enhance the neighbourhood by getting FRL to plant a hedge.

This last week MBS has planted a large number of copper beech saplings, which will grow into a full hedge in the coming months.

There will soon be a similar enhancement made to the crescent of Charlotte Avenue, where a number of trees and wooded posts will be installed to protect the green from trades vehicles, and make it a safer environment for children to play.
