Fairfield Community Hall was opened in 2012 and has grown steadily in popularity. It now has a number of well-supported commercial ventures providing regular clubs and activities for a range of ages and interests. However, there is always room for more.
The Hall is intended for use by everyone, whether they are signed up to a regular club or not. When was the last time you popped in to say hello? It is ideal for hosting all sorts of events, from children’s birthday parties to indoor sports and community groups.
We already have badminton, book group and wine tasting, plus more recently a thriving table tennis group. All are run by enthusiastic residents, with support from the Hall management, and they operate on a drop-in basis with no commitment and low fees just to cover the cost of Hall hire.
If what’s already on offer isn’t your bag, why not start your own group? Card nights, fIlm nights, craft groups and children’s sports are always popular in community centres, and there’s help available from the Hall Trustees if you would like to set something up but don’t know where to start.
