You may have noticed the new shiny bottle bank skips by Tesco.  They have replaced the old grimy ones, and they will be emptied on Mondays and Fridays. However, they are more noisy than the old ones and near neighbours are not pleased with the extra disturbance as we dispose of our glass refuse.  Fairfield Parish Council has asked, and CBC has agreed, to line the bottle banks to reduce the noise – this will take a few weeks to arrange. In the meantime, they will place some stickers to ask residents to only use the bins between 8am and 8pm.
