On Thursday 2 May 2019, elections will be held across Central Bedfordshire to elect councillors not only to Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) but also to Fairfield Parish Council (FPC). Our parish council in Fairfield has seven positions to fill.

Whilst none of our current councillors has publicly expressed a wish to leave, there is a feeling that there is room for new blood. By becoming a parish councillor you become someone your community will look to for help, guidance and support – a community leader with the power to influence decisions for the benefit of the people you serve.

Seeing your community change for the better, as a result of decisions you have helped make, is something that can give you a sense of achievement and pride.

For further details, including roles, responsibilities, commitments and qualifications to stand, please contact our parish clerk: katrina.henshaw@fairfieldparishcouncil.gov.uk – or indeed speak to any of the current parish councillors; their contact details are listed on the FPC website.
