Arlesey’s Vivace Choir and Strings are honoured to have been invited by our friends at Tilehouse Street Baptist Church to help celebrate the 350th Anniversary of their ministry in Hitchin, by performing a Festival Concert on Saturday 16 March.

The evening is the start of a week of festivities and will there will be a welcome drink on arrival.  Vivace will be performing works by Hubert Parry, Gustav Holst, and movements from ‘Devine Emblems’, a setting of some of Bunyan’s children’s writings, by local composer John Chambers.  There will be readings from Pilgrims Progress and some American ‘shape note’ hymns.
