part-funding a planned extension to the bowls club to improve facilities and allow for wider community use; paying for upgraded lighting, new furniture and resurfacing of floors in the community Hall; covering the scouts hall hire and storage costs 

CONTINUING THE HISTORIC ORCHARDS RESTORATION 
funding specialist tree work and providing expert training for volunteers

MAKING APPLE DAY SPECIAL
by subsidising and facilitating the event

PROVIDING MORE BINS AND DOG WASTE BINS 
to keep Fairfield looking its best

HOSTING REMEMBRANCE DAY
including organising and funding the beacon which made fairfield part of a national chain for the 100th anniversary

GRITTING ROADS AND FOOTPATHS
that are not covered by Central bedfordshire council, and keeping grit bins stocked for residents’ own use 

BUYING A HYDRANT LICENCE 
and equipment to provide water for the orchards and community garden 

GIVING US OUR VERY OWN TELEPHONE BOX LIBRARY
