Who are Fairfield Friends?

Fairfield Friends is an informal social group for Fairfield residents, offering the opportunity to meet people and make new friends in our community. As the name suggests it’s a friendly bunch that welcomes new joiners.

What does Fairfield Friends do?

Fairfield Friends holds monthly meetings in the Community Hall, which are free to attend, and also events. The meetings are not only for planning events, they are also social occasions which anyone is welcome to come along to. The first meeting after a long break was held on 8 November and it was lovely to welcome Friends back for tea and coffee, cakes and biscuits, and some great conversation. The next meeting is planned for 22 November, and on 13 December there will be a Christmas Party.

Fairfield Friends is starting to think ahead to 2022 and build a calendar of events including things like afternoon teas, evening meals and days out. Ideas were requested at the first meeting and this will be the focus of the next meeting on 22 November.

How can you get involved?

Just turn up! Anyone is welcome to come along to the meetings and/or events. There is no obligation to come to the meetings in order to attend the events – or to come to the events if you attend the meetings!
