Two opportunities to make a difference! Meet outside Fairfield Community Hall to collect your equipment and be given your designated clean-up zone, then litter pick for a couple of hours – or as long as you can spare.
Animals can confuse litter for food or nesting materials. Picking it up helps prevent wildlife from chancing upon it and being harmed by it – and it creates a better environment for humans too!
Organised neighbourhood clean-ups also enable neighbours to meet one another and help create a greater sense of pride and community.
Fight the litterbugs by becoming a litter picker!
Family groups and supervised children are more than welcome. Wear solid shoes and gardening gloves if you have them, and we’ll see you there!
