Fairfield’s Remembrance service on Sunday 13 November was well attended, with a large troop of scouts parading from St Luke’s Chapel to the Urban Park to join a multi-faith service led by Fairfield Community Church and St Mary’s Stotfold. Fairfield’s WI had knitted and crocheted not only the poppy banner featured in last month’s issue of Fairfield Matters but also a postbox topper for the event. Fairfield Parish Council provided poppies for residents to lay on the mound in addition to the wreaths laid by the council and management groups.
