We were treated to a most enjoyable Great British Quiz in aid of Autism Bedfordshire on Friday 21 April (incidentally, the birthday of the late Queen Elizabeth II) celebrating what makes Britain great.

Here’s a snippet of a few of the questions. If you know the answers, you should come along to the next quiz! If not, you can find them below (I thought these were some of the harder ones).

1. What is the code name used for King Charles III’s coronation?

2. Name the British pop or rock band in this anagram – RADIO GULLS

3. What is the oldest recorded town in Great Britain?

4. Which former British Prime Minister was awarded the Nobel prize in literature?

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the evening. We had a full house with over 100 residents and raised nearly £700 for Autism Bedfordshire and £200 from the raffle for the Fairfield Park Lower School PTA. A huge thank you to Jessie Sahota and the Community Hall team for organising, and to all the volunteers who helped in the kitchen.
