Three bank holidays meant only two art group sessions took place during May.

On Monday 15 we had a wonderful pastel workshop with local artist Sally (Naomi) Creveul.  She gave us lots of useful info about different types of pastel and the best papers to use. Following a demonstration of techniques, we all set to work to create a painting.  We all used the same reference photo, but there were very varied results because of the colours used.

Next month we will focus on “putting people in the picture”.
