In case the promise of one 5k run in a couple of months’ time isn’t quite enough for you, the worldwide phenomenon that is Parkrun arrived in Letchworth on 27 January, offering an opportunity for Fairfield residents to run a timed 5k almost on our doorstep every Saturday. Parkrun is a free event (you just need to register at parkrun.org.uk and print off your personal barcode before attending), and with the starting point on the Grange Rec, just a short stroll across the Greenway, we expect to see more and more Fairfield names on the results page as the days get warmer and the event becomes better known.
