A gathering of families from Fairifleld Park Lower School on the cricket pitch after the last day of term is now a tradition, and this year’s event was well supported, with a party atmosphere. The annual Wine Group barbecue was another happy occasion enjoyed outside in the incredible run of glorious summer weather. Thirty plus members shared their favourite wines, whilst feasting on a splendid array of salads, barbecued delights and desserts.

The fourth Fairfield Alive on Saturday 14 July brought the community together for a celebration of live music. This was also the first event to use the new stage area in the Urban Park. Fairfield Alive was organised by Fairfield Community Church and supported by the Friends of the Orchard who supplied some delicious Fairfield cider. Thanks to all the bands who put on a great performance and all the organisers.
