Are you planning an event in 2019? We give you the rundown of a few of the spaces available to hire in Fairfield, with more to follow in our February edition.
Fairfield Community Hall
Who are we? Well, the clue is in our name really.
First and foremost, we’re based in the heart of Fairfield Park so we’re ideally located for local residents. Secondly – community is important to us. We want to be the go-to venue where everyone, whatever their age, can come together. Last but definitely not least, we have a fantastic hall here that we love sharing with the community.
Actually, we have two halls – Oak and Chestnut – which are both light and bright with lovely feature windows. We use them to host all sorts of things, from fitness classes and wine clubs to birthday parties. Both halls have sliding walls – adorned with murals by a local artist – that can be pushed back to reveal additional space provided by the Birch Room. And there’s a handy kitchen right alongside.
Our venue also includes the Maple Room, a cosy little spot that can be used for small meetings and interviews or as short-term office space.
So that’s us – your local community venue. To make an enquiry please email admin@fairfieldcommunityhall.co.uk , phone 01462 835290 or find us on Facebook: Fairfield Community Hall.
Fairfield Park Lower School
Here at Fairfield Park Lower School we have wonderful facilities for you to hire. We now have two school sites, one on Dickens Boulevard and the other on Ruskin Drive.
At Dickens Boulevard, you could hire our main hall or drama studio for a party or indoor event, or we have the school field for sports clubs or small outdoor events. In addition, we have a community room (see picture, right) in the Pavilion next to Poppyfields, which is suitable for meetings or small group activities; this room also benefits from its own kitchen and toilet facilities.
On the new Ruskin Drive site, there is a spacious hall (see picture, left) perfect for events and parties and a fabulous enclosed grass field ideal for football or other sports. There is also a community room at Ruskin Drive suited for small group activities, which again has its own kitchen and toilet facilities.
To hire any of our facilities, please email the school office at office@fairfieldparklower.uk for more information.
