On Saturday 11 May, 1st Fairfield Park Beavers Riverbank Colony and Blue Lagoon Colony took part in a Beavers football tournament at Luton Town football stadium.
Despite never having played together before, both teams played fantastically and should be very proud of their achievements.
Riverbank Colony remained undefeated until the final. On their team were William Croughton, Oliver Croughton, Brandon Tobin, Archie H, Ethan Elwick-Poole, Byron Erol-Blyton, Ben Dimenstein, Harry Wood, Luca Casalini and Mason Blundell. In the final they were beaten 2–1, achieving second place in the tournament out of twenty teams taking part. They are pictured below holiding the cup.
Blue Lagoon Colony also played their hearts out and showed brilliant sportsmanship and team spirit. They were Frank Shiells, Evan Haigh, Adam Scott, Toby Scott, Oliver Coates, Nathan Johnson, Austin Milner and Oliver Matthiae. They are pictured lying on the pitch.
