In our April edition we featured two Fairfield residents who planned to run the London Marathon. We are pleased to report that both completed the race, and we can also report on two more runners who completed the challenge.

Cat Marshall, running for Child Bereavement UK, finished in 5 hours 20 minutes, raising £6,603; Jason Milner crossed the line in 4 hours 7 minutes; Russell Simpson ran in 3 hours 58 minutes, raising £1200 for Sense; and Josh Kingsland completed the race in 3 hours 53 mintues, raising £1,810 for Scope.

Another Fairfielder raising money for charity that day was Tania Blake, who volunteered at the marathon performing sports massages in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
