It is a rare thing that FM features film listings for the Broadway Cinema, but Irene’s Ghost is not just any film. This award-winning feature documentary is directed by Fairfield Park resident Iain Cunningham. It is screening at the Broadway in Letchworth on 30th June as part of a UK-wide cinema tour.
The film tells the story of the director’s search for information about his mother, who passed away when he was a child. Irene’s Ghost is an emotional detective story that opens out into an uplifting study of family, mental health and female friendship.
