Having been promoted into Division 2 of the Hitchin Sunday Football League after the 2018/19 season, Fairfield Park FC continued its success into 2019/20. When the amateur footballing world came to a standstill due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were sitting top of the league. The season was curtailed with a handful of games to play, but it appears the club will be competing in the top league when football resumes – whenever that may be. A great achievement for a club that was only founded in 2015 and has worked its way up from the bottom.

As we have now been given the green light by the league to set up a second team, we are currently looking for new players. If you are aged between 16 and 99 you qualify to play. Our current first team squad age range is 16 to 45, with both ends of that spectrum getting regular games. So if you’re looking for a fun way to keep fit (or to get fit) and meet new people in Fairfield with similar interests

In normal times, we train every Thursday, 9–10pm at The Pendleton Centre, Etonbury Academy. The season starts in mid-September (fingers crossed) and matches are most Sunday mornings in and around Letchworth and Hitchin. Get in touch, FPFC needs you!
