It was a cold and snowy Saturday, but a hardy band of folk came to the end of the West Orchard to plant seven new cherry trees and seven pear trees. The ground was hard to dig, but that meant everyone warmed up quickly.  Those who stayed to the end were rewarded with a taste of the 2017 cider, which is maturing nicely.

More cider will be available for tasting at the Annual Parish Meeting on 12 April.
