The whole of Fairfield came together on 27 April to do what we do best, bringing community spirit, togetherness and determination to help to tidy up the tennis court in the Hall grounds. A total of around 30 hardy souls brushed, trimmed, strimmed, cut, sawed, and blew almost a tonne of leaves, shrubbery, moss and rubbish from inside and outside the tennis court area to allow it to shine once again. This will lay the foundations for a soft trial in early Summer to see how the court can work before pushing ahead with it being used on a much more regular basis.

Our heartfelt thanks go once again to the volunteers and also to the Fairfield Orchard apples for keeping us going with some Fairfield Cider! We hope to have more of these events in the near-to-distant future so keep in touch with the Directors’ newsletters that go out and regular communications that are passed around the parish.
